I’ve been taking Toka to a local kennel for day care once a week.  He spends the day playing and wrestling with other dogs, blows off steam, learns how to behave around adult canines and returns home happy & exhausted.

Kiyo, his 4-year old sister, has been recuperating from a sprained foot.  She’s been cleared to wrestle with him in a small area (“NO running and playing yet!”).  Toka & Kiyo have become friends, and wrestle happily in a small fenced area.

How much easier this has made life!  These play sessions have taken the edge off both dogs.  They’re both calmer and content, easier to manage and more willing to work when we train.
