Tracking & playtime at the lake

Yesterday I lengthened the distance between targets for Toka’s track.  He kept working, though he had a slightly harder time.  You’ll see he deviates from side to side, because he’s looking for the target (not really tracking).

The targets were one small pace + one small step apart.

After, as usual, I took the dogs over to the lake. Kiyo likes to stand in the water & wade.  Toka will get his toes wet.  The ‘after’ clips are poor quality, though they do show that the 2 dogs get along.

Behind the scenes at home, we’re still working on focus work & nose work.  I’m also training him to like his harness (yum, cookies!), having his feet & ears touched, & his teeth inspected.
