It’s not being ‘naughty’

This just floated up on my Facebook feed, posted by a horse-loving friend.  Take out ‘saddle soreness’ and change ‘horse’ to ‘dog’ (or ‘kid!’).Screen Shot 2018-04-18 at 3.16.51 PM

Sometimes my dogs act in a manner I don’t expect.  They don’t find the hide in nose work, they miss the contact in agility, they act grumpy around people (click on the green word for an example).  99.9% of the time, I’ve figured out that it’s not them, it’s something else.  98% of the time, it’s been because they don’t feel well or I’m communicating poorly.

The next time your dog is ‘naughty,’ think outside the box.

Edited:  You can change ‘naughty’ for ‘stubborn,’ too.
