Toka and I were working on his heeling skills early this morning. We were on a quiet stretch of road and things were going swimmingly.
His Redness approached me after having been given the ‘break!’ cue. I’m not quite sure what happened, however I did a face-plant onto the tarmac. One minute I was vertical, the next I was face down, on the road. My elbows and knees got scraped and banged, as did my jaw.
Note to self: train on grass.`

OUCH! That gash looks worthy of a stitch or two.
